Why the hell do remakes affect champ stats??

It happens every time I play a game where the team is forced to remake. I'm someone who uses the champion stats to see how I can improve in certain areas of the game with a champion that I'm trying out. Admittedly, I also use it to see how I rank compared to other players. So when it tells me that remakes count as real matches and get counted in stats, it bottlenecks all my numbers and averages. I'm ABSOLUTELY SURE that Riot has overlooked such a small detail, and it's gone far too long unresolved. Just remove remade games from showing up in stats altogether and then we'll be Gucci.
