Does ranked season 10 go off of what level of mmr your games was playing off of?

So I did unranked to gold in 40 games on my like 4th account this season, im playing in around gold 2 mmr, will my season 10 placements go off of that, or my gold 4 rank?

Your ending rank/division determines your placement, however if your MMR is high you will earn more LP per game you win. No one really knows how placement matching works after the first game, but i've personally always placed lower than my rank previous and had to climb back up.
