EU>NA...but not on server quality

Yesterday I was just telling my premades "It's the release of a new game mode and a new event and the server didn't crash this weekend, I am actually impressed..." Aaaaand EUW just crashed. If the quality of the server increased at the same pace as the rate of € to RP, then our server could actually host North Africa (like it currently has to do, because they don't have a server of their own 10 years later...)

So yeah, it's a server for two continents, no wonder it crashes. It's beyond me how LoL has 10 years and Africa is still without their own server

After your comment about hosting North Africa, I looked up and it`s because we are too "small" of a player base, so there will be long queues and stuff like that, some article in 2016 https://mygaming.co.za/news/pc/105633-the-worlds-biggest-game-just-said-no-to-south-africa.html btw why did you mention North Africa / (Africa)

It was pretty bad in NA too but after like a day everything went back to normal. It's just something to expect when new content gets released. This one bigger than any because of TFT. It wouldn't have been as bad if it was just Qiyana's release.

remember when euw servers used to "not intentionally" crash everytime there was an LCS stream on Twitch?
