J. Mike Mendel died this Sunday
He died at 54 of natural causes.
He worked on The Simpsons, Rick and Morty, and several other shows as an animation producer.
I don't know what this means for one of my favorite shows and it is sad to hear about this.

Probably won't mean anything for the series themselves, they'll just have somebody else step in to take up the position. Might be a short break before new episodes on some of them, but I wouldn't expect anything major to change since he wasn't a writer.
