Playing too safe is Worse than Feeding

Feeling tilted because I lost my series so its time to vent! Im running into an issue of players on my team who are so focused on keeping their KDA score pretty that they refuse to participate in any fights unless conditions are ABSOLUTELY perfect for them. The worst part is if I fail one play and have a score lower than them you get all of them turning on you and suddenly everything wrong in the whole match becomes your fault since you died in that one last fight. Now they have a pass to avoid every following fight and ignore all attempts or calls until one side finally wins. (Yes both sides are playing like this) People there is a difference in playing passive vs running away from every fight. You can’t wait the entire game for just one moment! You will never get anywhere if you afraid to make a mistake.

The end!!

I'd argue the time tested bronze mentality is what got LoL to where it is today. Most of the people being in bronze and silver ramming their heads against walls until it falls one way or the other.

The higher damage has gotten in general, the more that playstyle has been encouraged. Riot got so concerned with how exciting they thought their game should appear, that they forgot what made it good in the first place.

If the entire game is just fighting, there's no time or place for strategy. If it's going to be whoever can roll their face across their keyboard hardest and fastest while aiming, then it's not LoL. It's just reskinned Call of Duty.

Yes, safe play is bad right now, but not for the reason you think. It's been made that way.

There's a term for people who only go in to fights they're certain they won't die in. Assassin mains.
