Support itemisation is a mess

So what do i mean by a mess? What im talking about isnt even specific passives or actives, but random stats, more speciffically that evry support item has mana/cdr or at least oly cdr, sure the upcoming rune can help deal with this issue, but what if i want another rune. Im gonna start with an example of what i like:

I like the direction mage itemization went, most of the time you start item 3165 that's 20% cdr next for the last 20 cdr you can get a combination of these items:item 3157 item 3102 item 3158 or runes( i know it's a bit unfair to include here runes, but i think it fits) , the rest of the items don't have cdr(or mana). Minor issue comes up if you go wit the tear start, but Riot mentioned they were looking for another 20% cdr item, which would solve this or it may still never come.

Meanwhile all the support items have cdr in them, well except item 3190(at least from the quick look i had) and most of them have mana too, i don't need that much cdr or mana. We have 6 item slots, which if we go with other boot options is 50% cdr and probably more mana than i can use.

I would say a core issue would be that supports don't really have what can be considered a desirable core build/item, then Riot could decrease cdr from other items. Sure they have those gold income items, but that's more like a necessity than a core item. I mean mages have item 3165 , fighters - item 3071 , adcs - item 3031 , item 3508 or item 3153(but adcs don't really rely on cdr). Supports don't really have that, i would say theyr core items just change based on which current item is the strongest and evrything else at that moment is based around specific game. Another possibility could be to increase cdr on the said gold income items. In the past Riot added ward limit because supports were team ward slaves, sacrificing all theyr income for wards. We have moved forward, but we still sacrifice part of our income for worthless stats.
