Why revert back to arurf?

Most of us know about how riot released regular urf in celebration for their 10th anniversary but for some reason decided to change it back to arurf some time after that. My question is that since riot had clearly recognized that almost all people who want to play urf would rather pick their champion so why change that? Is their goal to just create the most unfun experience for everyone that decides to play the game no matter what game mode? Kinda just blows my mind
