This is why I quit, this is why your new player counts are dropping

An image of my average match in this game So after almost a year and some change of not playing this game I decided to come back. I'm only level seven, I played a bit in the past then quit after running into match after match of one person on the enemy team or my team going 25+ kills, almost no deaths or no deaths, and ruining the fun.

I am now quitting your game, again, because of this problem. Every time I come back, this happens. Master Yi in this game killed everyone every fight, 1v5, and was toxic the entire game while other players on my team were also toxic. One person said on our team, "oh you're new players, I forgot you guys are bad haha" And they were level 8 or something. Are you kidding me? Why must I put up with this level of toxic crap? Your game is so filthy, will I ever fight ACTUAL NEW PLAYERS LIKE MYSELF?

EDIT: And then this happens next match, because I wanted to see if it was just bad luck. Goodbye everyone.

That Master Yi was definitely a spineless troll smurf who gets off reking new players (also if you don't know, Master Yi was legendary for being a completely BS champ and being a noobstomper champ; with the rework and the changes in the game, while the noobstomping elements is still there as with all snowball champs like him, but definitely nowhere as extreme as before now. However that impression kinda stuck and trolls still play around with it). And that's been a problem in the game for a while now, given that the new player population has reached saturation quite some time ago, the leveling scene is now filled with nothing but toxic smurfs getting their jerk-offs.

Riot tried to fix this by significantly reducing the leveling time/process, and developing smurf recognition system in matchmaking (they claim it's in there, some doubt it, I do believe it's there just that it's not very good at its job), but it can only help so much.

Outside of shitty smurfs killing off new comers, we also have issues with low level queue being infested by bots which you will run into sooner or later most likely.

Low level scene for any developed online game is going to be big trouble for any new comers, either because of shit like what you're facing or other issues. Maybe one day a genius will come out and fix everything for everyone, but until that day, I suppose you can only try to fix it, deal with it or just leave it behind for something else if you just don't want to put up with it, unfortunately.

First, it seems like you like midlane, if so I could try and help you out a little, Mid/Top are my main roles. (Though, admittedly, I'm a little rusty with my favorite midlaners)

Annie is a super solid pick in almost any comp so you're off to a good start.

@second image though, any time someone says "kill yourself", make sure to click the red ! beside the player's name at the end of game lobby. Report them for verbal harassment, and put in the details box what they said. They will get an instant 14-day suspension as a first offense, Riot is extremely harsh on people who make racial/mental handicap/homophobic slurs and/or tell people to kill themselves. If you fail to remember to report in end-of-game lobby, I would recommend taking the unedited version of that screenshot (showing all names) and report it to Riot Support directly via a Ticket.

Lose enough and your MMR will adjust. It's how it is friend, can't just ban people from making accounts.

I am pritty sure they try and match new players with other new players hence the tick boxes are you new amuter or pro. The leveling process is so new players can learn the game before dealing with more advanced players. But the problem is their is more smurfs then new players and you would look at a week before getting match with new players. On the other hand roit could make it so smurfs do not level up Just have someone link another account to theirs and it puts them at the same level and rank as that account. I know people are going to say abuse people are just going to pair up their account with their diamond mates account and ELO skip. This can be fix with harsh penaltys like if you fail the 10 game say only win 2 or 3 you drop a full division then start the 10 games again if fail again you drop again so on and so on, If this continues it would be obvious it would be abuse of the system and both accounts could be banned. This would fix the issue with new players getting rekt by all the smurfs and help with the low elo getting rekt by the diamond smurfs. Because what smurf is going to want to level to 30 before being able to play in rank, This could help the low rank elo as well.

If its any comfort to you generally those who brag are our bronze elo players also known as the lowest tier you can get. And they are experiecing what its like to do well for the first time in their life. But really no matter what game you go to you will find toxicity. This game atleast has moderation for it of which ive been disciplined before. As for you wanting to play with new players its better you find someone to teach you the game because then youll enjoy it more. Learning this game on your own is rough. Currently i have a smurf if you want to add it the ign is WienerDongerMain. I will not hardcarry out of respect and if i see a toxic player i will put him in his place. Would that be acceptable for you? This game is really fun and addicting and it always needs more players to better the community.

And as a side note it takes 3 games of reports to be punished and it resets every few days. So as long as you report the offender they will likely be punished

"Oh you're new players, forgot you guys are bad haha"

If that is one of the main things that stuck with you and prompted this thread, then it is probably for the best that you quit now, especially seeing your reaction to a calm warning about the forum rules.

Are you ok? Is this bait?

Take a look at my match history and realize how bad things really are.

God dam just spent 40mins explaining the game and it did not post how annoying. Basicly watch youtube and you put in lol teachers you will see some good videos and under stand the game bettter. And pair up with someone so they can protect you. And a smurf at your level is anyone that all ready has another level 30 account and made the account they are on now.

One Real Lucifer10/3/2017, 3:49:09 PM1 votes

You know the best way to start this game is to pair up with new players you find in bot games i myself am relatively new to the game and have made a group in which we added non-toxic noobs to play with that way we dont match up with toxic players in our team as for enemy we can just mute them from start and btw this toxicity is nothing compared to what you find in ranked 2 ways to deal with it either face it or leave the game you can ignore them of just play along with them say to them yeah i am bad probably should uninstall they won't say anymore after that. If you want i can add you in the group add me in game "One Real Lucifer"

Jamaree10/3/2017, 9:20:27 AM1 votes

No, not anymore. The game has long since reached its peak of getting new players you are now stuck with smurfs and the odd new player here and there.

Its kinda funny but also sad how there's more smurfs in this game than new players lol
