I don't even know what board to post this too as I am so lost with this game now.

I haven't played in a while, I tried this game a few times but now it's so different. These forums are different, the game menus are different, all sorts of stuff.

A few things:

How do I enable fast casting? Like I press down Q, and the moment I let go of Q the cast goes out? It still shows me the area in which the cast will happen until I stop pressing. I don't like quick cast where it shows you nothing and the skill just flies out. I can barely play this game but this little part would be nice to have. This is a fresh install so I dunno how to get that setting back.

How does exp work? You don't gain exp passively from your team? I am always under leveled. Also character levels? What do they do? If I am level 2 in cho lizard guy does that do anything?

What is up with this crafting system? Does this give skins to free players that do not pay? Or is it just China/Japan mode gachapon designed to shake down people with loose wallets? I mean I got like shards and some skin thing for 7 days? This is realllll gross on the surface, almost uninstalled right there as I really don't enjoy gachapon.

I also apparently got a leaverbuster thing because my game froze and I didn't know what to do because I alt tabbed for a moment. I come back and it says; "If you keep afking you'll get DC'd" so I stop afking, even though I didn't mean too, and now I have to wait 5 minutes before getting into a match? This is really not a good way to greet a returning player.

you gain exp by being close to enemy minions, champions, towers or neutral monster camps (aka jungle) when they die

In the keybindings menu look for "Quick cast with indicators" i believe this is what you are looking for. Champion mastery does nothing atm. and hextech crafting is free if you don't choose to pay. If there is something you'd like me to eleborate on let me know or ask me a new question i try to help
