And I don't mean "Well she has to get out of a champion so she can ward". I just played against one, where they had a 1/7 Jax top lane that got absolutely shitted on, then she right clicked on him and made him go 8/8 and carry the game.
If her counterplay is literally "she's not allowed to roam around on her own", then she needs to be completely removed from the game.
I had a game recently. Her Tristana came into lane without items, the lane was free as hell the entire time.
Then late game hit, their Kayn AFKd... Yuumi/Gangplank carried while Trist and, er, unremarkable mid laner watched.
Thing is I really don't think Yuumi did much. My team just kept going in in ones and twos... She healed him up between fights and ulted and thats about it.
Yeah she was a mistake of a champion. Make her like Io from Dota just have her tethered to teammate not untargetable
She literally isn't a champion on her own is her counterplay.
Weird how a large portion of the community said she’s useless when she came out and now it’s threads of “remove/gut yuumi” flooding the boards once a week.
Her weaknesses are any type of cc hits her and she is dead. She’s extremely squishy. And she can’t jump back to negate cc like before.
Heal reduction screws her up royally.
In lane hiding in minions makes her mana pool get depleted.
Flanking her and her team because she can only aim her ult one direction.
Play a hook champ. You get to pull two champs with one hook.
When you kill the ADC, she's basically a free second kill (if you play well).
She's squishy as shit when she's caught alone.
If she stays attached for a long time to be untargetable, her passive is useless (as she isn't attacking champs).
She's untargetable while inside someone, but not undamagable. Abilities that target her before she enters someone will continue to do damage to her even after she reattaches.
Tons of other things.
Kill whoever she's attached to. Force her to jump to someone else to survive.****
She can actually ward while attached to someone, lol
You just need to focus her adc and cc her when she's not attached
Super mana hungry, almost no peel pre-6, heals suck until she gets athene's. Terrible early game.
Getting disattached from morde into the middle of the enemy team when morde ult an enemy.
And CC'ing her, bursting her, just kill her ally it's not like she can jump to another I don't know what else.
