Riot is becoming EA
Title. Meanwhile EA are trying to get better. bam

At least all skins aren't hidden behind lootboxes.
Also I don't see EA getting better.
Riot Games - Monetize everything.
Well... about EA trying to become better... it isn't really true They are trying to justify their lootboxes and microtransactions The only good thing they did was tell people that the next star wars game wont have any of them which is nice if they do that.
you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain

Seriously, though, you really can’t compare Riot and EA, considering what got people so riled up at EA in the first place was how they would lock certain gameplay behind paywalls. Riot, on the other hand, has always kept their game free to play.
Yes, they might both make stupid decisions or have greedy business practices, but that does not automatically make the two the same. Even if they are equally bad, they’re at least not bad in the same way.

Can you elaborate? how's riot even close to becoming EA ?
id have to actually say a big fat no on this one. No one can compare to EA.
rito has become increasingly more greedy thats for sure, but theyre still far from EA. EA charges you for literally ANYTHING, including a title under your nametag, as well as literally limiting the amount of free loot you can get. take Apex legends for example. youre stopped dead in your tracks at level 100 for lootboxes, which can contain decent skins for weapons but thats about it. there is also a specific melee weapon only available via lootbox, so if you dont actually get lucky to get it as a drop, you would have to spend ~$200 because youre only given 45 lootboxes.
need i even have to explain star wars battlefront 2?
all skins for most of their games are also PURELY loot based, unlike league which are all available at some point other then loot.
so yeah riot is far from the greediest id say.
They're both alike tbh. They both have very good ideas at the start, but when it's time to implement them, they never fail to fuck it all up.
