Large Green Numbers during game

While i'm in game sometimes I'll randomly see +1200 or some other Large number in green (not related to fighting). Does anyone know what these numbers mean?

As far as I've been able to tell, it's when you're near where an ally died when they respawn. The large +green number is their max HP.
