Just from League? No. You're never directly connected to other players in your game.
Every time you do something in-game (for example pressing Q), you're sending a packet to Riot that tells the server that you just pressed Q. The server then processes this packet, and may send a packet to all clients instructing it to display animations for your Q. The server also keeps track of whether or not you hit anyone, and will send the appropriate packets, instructing the clients what to do.
It's intentionally done this way so this way so that you can't pull IPs from other players, and so that you can't send other players packets containing wrong information.
If you are asking if Riot can obtain your IP address, the answer is absolutely.
When you connect to their server your current IP address will be logged.
If you are asking if another player can obtain your IP address, .. my response would be, "Not that I am aware of."
As I said, you are connecting with Rito's servers, and other players are connecting with Riot's servers as well. You are never connecting with another player directly through the client.
If you are communicating with someone outside of the client, it may be possible.
My understanding was that when it happened in the past it was due to Skype leaking your IP.
