As the topic suggests I wanted to ask the community-is this game worth it dudes? Can we enjoy normals and grind ranked but still have fun? If your answer is no, I will be extremely grateful if you suggest other games. Some of them I might have tried,others not. Providing arguments will also be very useful. No. You should keep playing this game if you've been around for years, but the low elo experience is just too harsh. There's no such games I could think of that replaces League (for me, at least). I play HS and Civ5 on the side, but not as much as League.
If your personality is that of wanting a game with a deep level of mechanics, a high skill cap, and lots to learn then yes. If you want something you can casually enjoy, you're going to find yourself having to deal with alot for it. I use to do WoW arenas and this was a nice upgrade to that kind of environment for me, but if you've never been into a competitive ranked structure game, probably wouldnt start with this one.

If you haven't played much or at all then yes grind it out until you get the hang of things.
With the upcoming changes to the rune/mastery system, yes. The new player experience will be a -lot- better in a few months time.
As for ranked... It's fun if you can keep yourself from being stressed out by it. Same goes for normals actually.
There will be bad games, -real- bad games, there will be flaming and toxicity and it is down to you to mute them and carry on. If you can do that and enjoy the game, then it is fantastic and worth every second you put into it. :D

I have been playing since before season one and I can't say I regret it because regardless of how I feel now I did enjoy my time in League many years ago. However, my answer to your question is a resounding No.
