I know we are all a bit upset. And rightfully so. Being told that we are rapists/mysogonists/manbabies and everything else.

Remember, as the most notorious toxic community in gaming, when dealing with this, we are above it. We lose any rational to protest if we degrade ourselves to the same level. Let's treat people who disagree with us respectfully and with reason. As well as any rioters who may speak to the issue in the future.

Remember. For everything we are upset about, we only retain legitimacy of we remain above the stuff we are fighting against.

Honestly, this community is on the verge of nuclear meltdown, and it's already been spiraling into inconsolable rage and echo chambering. I've seen so many ignorant posts and just downright unverified things that people are using to get even more upset that this issue is losing traction and validity really quickly. We need to stick to hard facts, check sources, not be quick to make blame or claim ignorant things that defy decades of sociological research in order to justify our anger. We don't need to blame women, or blame SJWs, or anything like that for Riot's ill-advised behavior and their unhinged employees on Twitter. Riot needs to be the target of our upset at the issues that they've caused, so we don't need to lose sight or muddy the waters trying to spread ignorant propaganda and blame to groups or people other than Riot.
