For One Trick Ponies: Do you Dodge if your champ is picked/banned?
Just curious with OTP do you dodge if your champ is picked or banned or do you have a back up? Just curious how the whole OTP thing works ;)

There are two types of OTPs.
dodge
Whenever I need to play support, I guess I could call myself a Thresh OTP. Let's say I'm autofill supp and Thresh is banned, I'll suck it up, inform my team, and pick a character I atleast have an alright understanding of.
I am jinx 1 trick and i have some chanps in case she is banned
Nah, I have a few fallback options and save picks at hand. My biggest problem is getting autofilled.
If mine gets picked or banned (usually never) I just counter pick it or play something different.
If you even consider me a OTP.
I troll pick and hope someone dodges
On this account if my main is picked I obviously have other champions to fall back on. Though, I have an OTP Jinx account that I would dodge if I never got her.
If it's Ranked, I will dodge.
I could simply swap to support and play Morgana, but that assumes the player assigned support is comfortable with playing ADC, which is rarely the case (because they're primarily auto filled from top/mid/jungle followed by being a support main).
It's a lot less drama and -3 LP is a small price for that.
It's typically a good idea to main a champ that isn't frequently flirting with pick or ban status
I have been playing more Shen and Kennen as of late for a reason.
I mean I mostly play Lissandra and when the enemy team picks her(rarely, cuz no one plays her) I choose a back up just to make the enemy pay for taking her ... And it works mostly because people dont play her well*[sg-syndra]* A dodge doesnt make much sense because you know how the champion works so you know how to counter it,so it makes for an easier game
