I’m making gold whether RIOT wants it or not, but I want it to be known.
This is literally the most messed up ranking system I’ve ever participated in. And spare me with mmr talk, us little people speak in ranks. I want my border and I should never have to beat plats to get it. Period.
Just like to point out every single one of your enemies had a negative win rate and all had MMR 3 to 6 ranks below their current rank.
I find it funny how in SoloQ I get an enemy team full of Plat 5 - 3 while my team only has 3 Plat 5 including me then a Gold 5 and a Silver 2.
Meanwhile when you are Silver you can't even DuoQ with a Plat but that doesn't mean the system can't poop on your head.
Eh, if anything it's a way to improve. Playing versus players of higher skill level can show you how they play, and if you lose, how they won. It's helpful, imo.
Also let me restate I am currently silver TWO in promos for silver ONE and I have to beat PLATINUMS to get into silver ONE?

to win my promos to gold 1 to p5 took fucking 10 times and p5 to p4 doesnt look any better. They litterally keep putting me with people who have 20% winrate are toxic and tilted and with people on there secondary roles and with duo's so that im pretty much guaranteed to be fucked. When im not in my promos I have 80% winrate or higher and it's litterally only when im in my promos that I get these impossible fucking games.
I litterally had a game just now where my adc trist afk'ed then came into lane missed every cs at the tower then got hooked having to use all our sums to save her then she was at 10% she walked around uselessly for a bit before actually backing then coming back and rocket jumping into thresh caitlyn who were at full health and in there creep wave then blamed me a lulu for not pressuring enough or not flashing in to help. Mind you both thresh and caitlyn still had all there sums.
Then I had a game where my talon mid lane died 7 times while our team had 9 deaths and 2 of them was because his lane opponent roamed and tower dived us. We litterally solo lost the game because of our mid laner. He also continued to feed even after that.
Like are you fucking kidding me like I understand placing people in higher level games or in harder games to prove you deserve to be higher but that doesn't fucking mean that I should have to be a fucking God every game and pray on the elo gods that I don't have completely shit teamates to be able to pass my fucking promos within 5 attempts.

Noone cares. The matchmaking doesnt even check ranks. MMR is the only thing. Ranks are fancy stuff for people loving shiny borders.
Promo series are literally just chance. They matchmake you into games where you have a 50% to win then require you to win more than 50% of your games.
I feel like Ranked is a life trap at this point, if Im losing as Morgana mid in Bronze. Im probably the only decent mage main who cant ever climb, and every single streamer has gotten their 7 keks in about this
If you make alts, and Im grinding one up right now, dont ever begin Ranked on it
Don't worry, I got matched versus a current challanger from a different queue, he was challanger in solo and provisional in 3vs3. Guess what? I won versus a challanger as a silver. Yes, it is possible, now stop complaining in hopes of getting a shortcut. I am now gold in every queue, it IS possible. You just have to be calm and understand that losing is part of the game that you decided to play.
Just because they're plat last season doesn't mean they're plat this season.
