Fortnite is bad for youth. Riot must grow more in popularity.

To be honest now. League of Legends can be tilting at times but it is at least enjoyable somehow. Even there are some ahri skins for young kids still. Now when I see kids who are playing fortnite their parents don't realize that it is bad for them. In High Schools and Middle Schools there is at least 1 kid out of 4 I believe playing it on phone. Academic progress drops for them of course. Iraq banned it as well as India. I think USA should have some strict rules about games and how they are available to youth. Kids under 12 shouldn't even be able to play anything that includes guns. Epic games says but we don't have blood and gore in our game. Yes they don't but the way game progresses as you have to kill everyone to win is pretty bad for kids mental health. I don't even want to talk streamers who play it. If you don't believe me just go talk to any kid who have been playing fornite over 1 year and I am sure you will notice their education and intelligence levels. It is so addicting that kids are playing it literally in class and lunch.

I think Riot should make league of legends concept in way that it can be for youth too. It is hard to play for them probably because lol has mechanics and things like that but at least it will help them in a way that they will stop playing fornite. I feel like it ruins future generations.

I would like to hear ideas of any of you about that.

Don't tell this dude, how we were playing cs1.6 when we were 10 y/o. Honestly? I feel like going out, shooting ppl, so you might be right(sarcasm).

Were Pokemon cards bad? We were hustlin with cards like drug lords. In class? Teachers banned it. Screw that bitches, it was even more enjoyable for us after that. It was so cool, sure it was "different", but it wasn't really. It was trendy, so we did it. First mobile phones and computers? First porn? We didn't know what masturbation was, but we watched something blurry on screen what looked like two naked persons, before that? I bet porn magazines were things. It was prohibited, so ofc we did it. And many other things.

Was it bad for us? Idk. But this is what makes good memories. Same with every activity, be it games like Minecraft, CS, Warcraft, Runescape etc. Sport or just hanging out with boys. It's easy to jump on "Fortnite bad" bandwagon. Don't tell me that you were exemplary student, if yes, I bet you were in minority.

Sure kids should be teached to care about their education and stuff, but if they don't want to, you won't make them.

Is it about you caring about kids or you hating Fortnite?

Lets be honest, this community is toxic and bad for gaming until we turn it around.

"Fortnite is so much fun that Iraq and India banned it, therefore so should the U.S."

games in general are bad for academic progress.

if LoL makes mobile, than is league just as bad?

also, a lot of countries dont care about the cons of things as it just means more profit else where (depression meds, paying for someone to talk to, etc)

in my opinion, lol, or any game for that matter, isn't good for mental health if it isn't regulated. People treat it as a way of life, playing hours every single day, playing it instead of doing in real life stuff such as meeting up with friends and stuff.

media in general has caused a great disconnect from what makes us human and it controls peoples lives and how they think now.

LoL is no different than fortnite imo. Everygame someone is toxic, flames, justifies flaming, and I have first hand experience of psychopaths harassing me over stupid trivial shit, even outside of LoL. So yeah, it's about regulating internet usage/gaming and not an individual thing as a whole.
