Can I get new skins (or even prestige) from a Birdie Bag

I've saved my odyssey gem for this long and was wondering if I craft a birdie bag would I be able to get the battle acadamia skin (if I open the bag after they are relased), and if I can would I also get the prestige skin? Most likely you can only get stuff from when the Odyssey event was introduced since thats where the Gem comes from but maybe not...?
