Been at honor 2 checkpoint 2 for 8 months.

I get honored quite often, and i've been wanting to play ranked TFT, but i need honor level 3. My account hasn't had a punishment for behavior on it for a year now. I've been doing really well not to rage or flame. I'm wondering why I can't hit honor level 3. I know it takes a long time, but I play more than most people and still can't get it. I feel like it takes too long to raise honor level. Am i going to have to wait a year before i can get access to the PBE because of honor? Just seems too difficult.
