Kayn Ult allows him to follow me wherever I am and goes through walls when I'm about to get him, plus the rest of the abilities are annoying. But I also ban Irelia and Kai'sa sometimes when I don't get Jungle.

When you ban just keep in mind 3 things:

Who is strong in the meta
Who counters your pick
Champion pick rates

Keeping these in mind will help you not waste your ban on useless champions.
