More uses for orange essence

Looking at my loot on both my main and my alt I have a excess of orange essence but get jack squat from chests and had this little idea. Whenever they decide to convert all IP into blue essence once preseason hits why not allow players to use orange essence to purchase skins for either double or triple the essence one would normally need in order to get the skin if the player had it in his/her loot.

Of course excluding epic skins and above but it would still allow players to get skins w/o having to spend real money and seeing how you can only get orange essence from events and/or hextech chests Riot wouldn't be losing out on a lot of money.

What do you guys think?
