I just saw THE WORST documentary about the Mariana Trench
It was abysmal.

The water pressure is ridiculous when you travel that close to the ocean floor. I can't imagine anyone who travels that far into the depths of the ocean could communicate with the out side world either.
I imagine their sources were rather suboptimal.
