When will we get ranked teams back?

I miss the good ol ranked 5v5s. Flex is basically just a step up from draft, a practice queue for solo/duo. It doesn’t give off the same competitive vibe. I understand ranked 5’s was full of holes, but why are we having to wait so long for an update?

If it does come back one day, I hope they place restrictions on creating/joining ranked teams. Like you can only create/join a team every 3 or 6 months. That stops the problem of people just making a new team after getting undesired placement results. And maybe something like adding missions for playing and winning games with your team. Rewards more unique than a lame summoner icon no one will use for ranking up a league. That would at least keep the queue playerbase healthy.

I’m probably just one of few people that really want ranked 5’s back, but I hope it makes a comeback this year. Thoughts anyone?
