Why am I playing higher elo players?

I just finished a normal game where the enemy team was comprised of 3 players who were currently in gold with one having been platinum last season and the other two were silver. My team had never been higher than silver except for one player who had been gold in season 5. How does this kind of matchmaking happen? We got absolutely destroyed by the player who had been platinum. Really bad experience. Doesn't make me want to keep playing because I might waste another 30 min getting one-shot by a Diana.

So actually think about this. you cant rage but practice. How do you get better? How do you improve if your always facing people that are making around the same decisions as you are and have similar skills?

It's not easy. you get better by practice even if you get shit on. your practicing against their elo. at least it isn't like diamond. I'm G1 as a support. I see a difference on different accounts. play styles are totally different. its great practice

It's not exactly fair to be matched against high ranked players, but you have to accept a challenge when it's presented.

I've faced some Silver 3-Gold 4 players in normal matches, most of the time we got stomped, and sometimes we put up a good fight.

All you can do is practice. I personally am just going to hop into ranked and play as hard as I can.
