Everyone complains about pyke meanwhile blitzcrank visibly grabs not only free kills but free LP

A range buff on such a potent skillshot is HUUUUUUGE. I am not surprised Blitzcrank's winrate went completely nuts. I doubt the armor nerfs to come are going to reduce his win% at all he is not meant to be super unkillable tanky like he is meant to turn every fight into a 5v4 taking out the enemy ADC or midlaner instantly with team followup. Pyke has a predictable kit his hook and ultimate are not instant and pyke has to have constant risk assesment because in order to lock down the enemy he has to burn his best escape ability. Yes being destroyed by a pyke ultimate is not fun but he is squishy a will one shot him at any stage of the mid/late game and he surely is not the strongest hook champion right now imo. Expecting downvotes because people for some reason fear pyke more than post buff blitzcrank.

I mean, as someone who mostly plays bot lane I've always been way more afraid of blitzcrank than Pyke. The buff to blitz isn't really a massive difference because technically he's still doing the same thing he's been doing forever. He's just slightly better at it now. When I lane against pyke it does actually feel fine (to me), but champs like blitz and leona have literally caused me to go 1/10 just because they shut down most of the champs I play. That being said, I find that blitz is much less dangerous when he's not in a tight lane. In mid-game it's much easier to move around him. The problem is that he can set you back early game, but I think that's a legit strategy.

Everyone's complaining about the Blitz buffs too. It's not an or situation, you can dislike multiple things. Using Rengar is also a poor example because he oneshots nearly everyone that isnt a Maokai or Mundo, and considering Pyke has super high base stats and can build armor (GA) it might not even be true.

Yeah I think the boads just hate every assassin so pyke will still be most hated. But blitz really should get his buff reverted like just fuck him like he is just a unfun champion that's it.

Like the amount of bs blitz can do at the start of the game to jgs especially when teammates don't work together can really kill the fun in the game since the player is usually tilted after that from my experiences.

I can think of so many times someone gets hooked over a wall and dies or just gets hooked and dies and there's nothing they can do because they don't dodge one skill shot, like if you get hooked or stunned by pyke it's most likely not game over and his hook doesn't pull enough to for someone to be completely away from his team.

Like if I'm a support like janna or leona I can just cc, or shield the champion that got cced by pyke and it will turn into a fight but with blitz it will just turn into a pick and there is nothing you can do.

Yes blitz only has one skill shot to dodge and when it's down he loses a lot of his pressure unless pyke BUT he can still peel much better then pyke and he has access to the support tank items that give a good amount of utility.

Blitz really should be reworked hooks are just not fun in general and the game would be better without them.
