It happens to me more often than i'd like. Like come on dude make up your mind already. I guess some people do silly things in rage and try to redeem themselves afterwards when they realise the guy they flamed was a credit to the team's sucess. Why is this a thing though? Do people think raging boost your team's morale during the game or something i can't phantom it.
How the hell do you know who honored you?
Some players that flame don't do it personally, it is just in the heat of the game. As long as you played well in the end, they don't have negative feelings for you.
Even more than that, after I called a guy (who ignited me) a %%%%%%, he later on added me as a friend. Then he invited me to his party and once we started playing his friends flamed me to the Moon and back the whole game long while he sat back and enjoyed every minute of it...after the game he removed me as a friend and I didnt even have a chance to say bye, thanks for ruining my self-esteem! thats one evilest minded villain right there...

Half of the people playing League are going through puberty. I can't imagine trying to keep my cool if one of my teammates was laissez about feeding in a ranked game if I were 14 years old.
I try to be a positive person during league games and sometimes call my friend trash when we're playing together, I hope the team knows we're joking.... sometimes when im jg or helping an gank and my supp or bot lane disengaged when Im fighting is really annoying, lets take an example.
Im playing 
and the enemy jg comes and ganks me top side im lvl 6 so I have ult but then my jg comes lets say 
or something and he ults its a 50-50 fight but then my orn decides to chicken out and run when
IM KAYLE LVL 6
with ult and I end up having to ult myself and flashing just becuase it turned into a 1v2.
That shit pisses me off because It was a good winnable fight, its worse when I die.
Some times I crack and I be rude and say " what are you doing, I had ult why did you leave me" but I never call them trash and shit like that If im mad I would say " wtf are you doing when Im fighting" and ping them a good few times. If I see them do something later in the game I usually will give the a thumbs up or say something postive, Im easy to forgive you if you redeem yourself.
Flaming in league is a waste of time and energy, It brings the team morale down way low and usually earns you the lose
People that flame are probably man children honestly it dosent help anyone...

they could be like me where they just spam the mouse button to get through the stupid worthless honor screen as quickly as possible and by spamming the mouse button you will quickly randomly honor someone and move on
i have to admit in fact i honored a person once i flamed. i missclicked and then in post game just said "take my honor i feel so bad when i see you i have to honor you"
For me there are 2 category of flamers. The one that flame and he sabotage you, stealing cs, flashing to last hit unnecessary kills, last hitting jungle camps. The one that ask you why you do something and focus to win. Usually the last one can actually be a good reliable player to win the game.
Yes but I am normally the one who slightly flames and honors effort. Idgaf about behaviour so if you borderline inted early and I called you out on your bs but you manage to do your job and contribute to the team in more ways than a terrible meatshield, you earn a honor.
I honor my premades for great shotcalling out of irony when they Int, maybe they’re doing the same thing to you who knows
