MMR system?

Ive got a question. Im low plat ( plat 3). I totally smurfed through my first 40 games with 70% winrate. Problem is im always getting 15 and losing 19-21. Right now my winrate is around 55-58%. I keep getting 15 and losing around 20. Last season i finished plat 1. This season i went 7-3 in my first 10 games and i was placed silver 3. Im getting matched with gold 1 - plat 2 players so it seems my mmr isnt scuffed. Why am i getting such low lp at wins and losing so much at losses. Im literally required to have more than 66% in order to climb. This is so frustrating.

Your rank is higher than expected for your MMR. It generally occurs after going on a win streak (and as you say, you've basically been on a permanent win streak). The reason it happens is the rate at which MMR decreases from losses and increases from wins is slightly lower than the rates for LP.

Ultimately, there's nothing you can do about it. Just keep playing and don't let it affect your performance.

yea man, tell me about it. I'm no where near plat yet, but for a good while I was a Nasus main top. i kid you not had over a 70% wr with him in like 20 games. However I lost the same amount of LP that I gained. Literally lost games with 700+ stacks... You know how frustrating that is? Lmao the matchmaking/ mmr/ lp system is a total joke. People continue to tell you to improve yourself. The thing they want is a bronzie to get good enough to 1 v 5 just in case their team is useless. Feels bad. I mean I could 1 v 3, but apparently that still wasnt good enough to help me climb out, so i have to sit through the torture of people telling me to improve my game and not get bothered about all the bullshit losses i suffer.
