League is Getting Laggier as time goes

I understand that there have been graphic and animation changes and the game has increased in visual quality overall but the last seasons have progressively been worse optimized season 9 was the worst , full of bugs and the game was so laggy. Now preseason 10 is by far the worst experience me and my friends have had. I said season 9 was the worst since i know that preseason is buggy and there will probably be some fixes, but my point is that there have been such problems even before preseason 10, im using a fairly decent pc and still experiencing major fps drops at random moments, and so are my friends (I will list my pc specs at the bottom). Im experiencing these problems on both my pc and laptop. I play at around 300 fps on my pc and out of nowhere constant drops to 25-40 fps, on my laptop im playing at around 150 , and fps drops sometimes as low as 7-20 fps. The game has become almost unplayable for me. Before that i had issue with the inconsistency ( latency, net lag, delay whatever you call it) im pretty sure that everyone has had one of these i pressed zhonya or whatever spell half a sec ago but i died anyway, or you flash a skillshot and it hits you anyway at the previous position, ive even flashed while being dead. These problems have been getting worse and worse with each passing season , and im experiencing progressively more of these situations, im not by any means an expert in this field but im an IT student and ive troubleshoot everything that could be wrong in my end at the point of where i just realised its not only me and its probably a game problem. Could we please get some information on what exactly is going on or maybe some changes for the future so the game becomes more skill infolved as before. Thanks in advance.

PC specs: I7 4970K 16gig ram GTX 1070 Fatality Z97 motherboard

Laptop specs: I7 8750H ram 16 gig GTX 1050 ti

Im pretty sure that with my PC setup i should be able to play league with no fps problems considering that i can run the latest AAA games on maxed out settings 60fps, also im using the best possible internet i have as option and its not bad at all.

There's no way the PC you're listing should have issues with league, make sure you update your drivers. League can practically run on a fancy refrigerator with one of those internet touch screens.

It's insane how people really have no clue what they are talking about. No it's not your computer not your drivers are not the problem. Fps drops and lag had consistently increased since 9.14 patch (or somewhere around that) and it has been getting proggressively worse. I used to play on 300 fps now on 80 lmao. All of the other games i play (WHICH REQUIRE A LOT BETTER COMPUTER TO RUN) work just like before, nothing changed. Exepct league. I hope they fix this.

It's something that is not easy to fix, as it requires a complete rewrite of the engine's code, which would at least take years considering the amount of features we know have. It's the same as wow, it shouldn't lag on modern systems for the graphics it provides, but the engine is aged and there is not much that can be done unfortunately .

EDIT: It seems there is a problem with your drivers. If you could check your drivers to be up to date and check the settings as well. Check this video On your laptop make sure you run the game using your gpu and not your cpu. Check this Riot Support page If none, works then try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
