Are Greek letters allowed in euw summoner names?

I was about to change my summoner name, but in order to get the name i wanted i would have to replace the Roman letter "l" with the Greek letter "Ι" which looks completely the same. So I was wondering if there might be any complications since I read from somewhere that Greek letters are only allowed on eune.
