What kind of weapon is Duskblade
http://puu.sh/xezAS/fe4b74ff99.png Sword? Unlikely Dagger? Possibly Pole arm? Also possible
I'd imagine it's a dagger since it's something assassins buy but I dunno looks like it could be a pole arm too

A bad one. Serrations look cool but they actually just snag on clothing and get your weapon stuck.
Kunai with chain
:^)
Have you EVER seen an assassin use a polearm? Use your brain young one..
It looks like an extremely impractical weapon that would 100% be a dagger in WoW
Sacrifical dagger, short sword, cancer.
a magical meniac dagger mehehehehehehehe
An Ashandarei. Or Naginata, if you prefer the Japanese version.
Though it's just as likely to be a dagger or a shortsword, I'm leaning more heavily towards a polearm as the curvature of the blade is useful in penetrating plate armor (sliding under and around where the plates meet, though it is horrendous verses any form of mail) and the serrations may assist in rending flesh on the way out, though serrated weapons are more difficult to sharpen and maintain as useful weapons, being fully cut with a serrated weapon was effectively a death sentence for much of history. The flesh would practically be shredded and incredibly difficult to sew shut and the victim would bleed out rather quickly.
If it was a dagger it would be a poor weapon, as it wouldn't have the advantage of reach or the additional stopping power one would expect from a polearm. Though I suppose such a serrated blade would be very deadly to completely unarmored opponents (anything such as heavy clothing would impede it.)
Serrated weapons were also used as off-hand tools during combat, because hardened steel with smaller notches than you'd expect from an offensive weapon was extremely useful in attempting to disarm the opponent, as you could catch the enemies blade and snap the relatively brittle metal in half or out of their hand entirely, leaving them exposed to smaller, more lean weapon in your primary hand. They also had dual purposes as serrated sword breakers could also be used to chop down firewood or dig trenches, albeit slowly.
looks like a dusk blade to me
It's a blade of course!
It's in the name.
I assume it's a dagger.
It's a dagger. The girth to length ratio indicates it's a short weapon and the lack of hand guard reinforces this idea.
Dagger.
More specifically a stabbing one, its ment to go in, And while you pull out the serration makes the cut much harder to sew back together.
twisted weapon, But.. It gets the job done...
I can see it being a dagger, but since the hilt goes off screen, I've always thought it looked like a polearm.
