Matching Takes longer on NA servers

Playing on the EU West server (from either in the EUW or from in North America) finds me games SO much faster than when I play on the NA server. My average wait time on EUW is probably about 20 seconds, but sometimes it takes almost 5 minutes to find a game on the North America server. What's up with this?!

cis males are only allowed to play past 2:30 which is 6 - 9 hours later in the EU

what rank are you on both servers are you playing in low level? is your NA rank higher than your EUW rank? there's so many things we need to consider before we can answer the question

also MMR and are you playing ranked or norms
