Some things i was thinking about if i could work with riot
Its a long post, i hope its entertaining enough though! First off, we should create a better client. The client would allow people to change the login screen. We would spend the REQUIRED time to make sure everything looks nice and works smoothly for the client. They could also have access to customization to their client, allowing nice art intricate rims, cool effects from changing tabs, and different match ready effects. We would also make themes for the factions and areas of league that you could choose from without paying money. The shop would have new additions to what you can buy and customize:
1: Map announcers ( Different champion voices for those of you that prefer someone ) 2: Map themes ( Things like a noxus themed SR, or Hextech themed, changing the looks of different objects ) 3: Tower Skins ( Changes the look, animation and projectile of the tower, as well as giving you custom options like evolving your towers looks.) 4:Minion skins ( Changing the effects, looks and animations of minions. Dying effects and rigs can be changed ) 5: Jungle themes ( Makes themes for all jungle camps, such as a Project theme, turning every monster into a tech-like monster ) 6:Last hit effects ( Effects that change the last hit animation, prioritized over ultimate skin last hit effects like pulsfire ezreal. Effects can be something like a candy explosion, or disintegration )
I would also like to add rewards to people who get m5 with a champion, like a ward skin of their champion, or an emote of their champion. For m7 I do not really have a clue, so i’ll leave that to you experts.
I would change the way account exp is earned. Based on your own performance, that includes vision score, cs, objective damage, champion damage, healing given, damage absorbed ect based on what role and champion you are, you would get a grade based on your score and the time. It would compare your score to the time you ended, and see how well you did compared to the minimum you need in that said time.
So let's say you did not miss a single minion, and had above average farm at 20 minutes. The system would rate you higher, because of how well you did based on the expected cs, objectives, vision score ect for that time. It’s kind of hard to explain, but i hope you can sort of understand. In short, you will earn exp and champion exp based on your OWN performance. Losing a match will not affect your exp gain, your performance will.
This way, you feel less horrible for losing and more happy for staying even, or doing better in a game even if you lost, unless you did not do very well yourself. This will negate some negative effects from trolls if they try to make you lose. So regardless if you have a troll or not, as long as you can achieve nice decent scores, you will acquire more experience than the guy who was a troll and did poorly. Wins should be a nice Side-reward of extra exp, but you should earn a good amount if your doing good, and improving regardless if you lost. This moves the game to a more solo-oriented type of play, which i read on the boards is what many of you want! I still want to have the team aspect in there though because its fun!
Moving onto bots!!
I would also like to have better modes for bots. There will be 3 difficulties so as to not spread the players too thin:
Beginner ( Might want to change the name to something cooler ) Experienced Mastered
Beginner would have bots that will focus on farm rather than engagement for the first 10-15 minutes of the game, and will retreat if health is low. Beyond that, they will start poking and going for trades. They will back away if outnumbered, and will not take any objectives other than turrets. They do not use summoner spells, and rarely use their ultimates. Minions in this mode are not changed. Basic bots like ashe, annie, garen ect will appear, no one over 1350 essence will appear. There is no jungler. Bots in this mode will not have runes equipped. Rewards for this mode will be dependant on your summoner level. ( The lower your level, the more exp you will gain )
For Experienced, the bots will regularly poke you at all points in the game. Farm will still be their priority, and they will always choose a last hit on a minion over a poke, allowing for practice for poking. These bots will sometimes go for objectives in the jungle, and one bot would be a jungle bot. They will start on a random side, and never go for steals in your jungle. When dragon spawns, they will not group for dragon until after 3 minutes, in which the bottom lane, jungle and mid will go bot to take the dragon. They will prioritize dragon over players. Jungler will regularly gank any lane its close too, if the player is overextending the lane, or under enemy turret. These jungle bots Will use their ultimates more often, and sometimes chain abilities with other bots. These bots rarely use summoner spells. Minions are not changed. More advanced champions will also appear in experienced, but not over 4800 essence. Bots will have recommended runes equipped based on their champion. Rewards for this mode will be normal.
For Mastered, The bots will be very aggressive, well coordinated in teamfights, have increased damage-armor-health based on class, and upgraded minions in lane that take reduced damage and deal True damage to players. Bots will prioritize players over minions, unless it is a cannon minion. Bots will use item abilities, summoner spells, and ultimates regularly. They will try to pressure lane, using abilities to mow down the minions while your gone. The jungler will start on a random jungle, going for red or blue. They can also invade. All of the bots will assist the jungler, making invades early very deadly and risky. They will go back to lane and the jungler will resume normal pathing once the buff has been taken. ( For all you syndra mains, have fun resetting their jungle ^w^ ) Bot lane, mid lane and the jungler will go for dragon 1 minute after it spawns. They will prioritize players over the dragon. The jungler bot will gank lanes if a player overextends, and uses ultimate's and gap closers as well as any gapcloser summoner spells if the player is under an enemy turret. Bots will place wards regularly around the map, and sometimes control ward baron or dragon. If a player is spotted in the baron or dragon pit, all bots closest to the area will sometimes converge and check for players. Same goes for any ward the bots place. The jungler will deal bonus true damage and lifesteal to jungle camps to help sustain the bot. Very advanced champions will appear, including ones that are 6300 essence. Bots will regularly keep up with items, going for builds based on their class and recommended. Bots will have runes, and go for the recommended runes based on their champion. Turrets will have extended range, and deal Max%HP damage. Turret plating is doubled for the risk and difficulty involved early game. Minion gold gained is doubled, as well as support item gold gains. Experience rate earned is doubled, and level cap raised by 3. Rewards for this mode will be essence and x2 the amount of exp than an experienced bot game.
By the way, experience earned also scales with time the game goes on, so the longer the game, the greater the experience earned.
