Are we still getting that Karthus emote or did it get cancelled? You people at riot really arent transparant with this. We get some vague "it'll come out dont worry" type answer (if we're lucky, you ignore 99% of the questions about it.) Just tell us if it's coming out or not already. Why is releasing one single emote that's already done and was supposed to come out months ago so damn hard for you people? It's actually starting to piss me off. The one time my fav champ gets some love and it gets pulled away from us for no reason whatsoever.

They'll probably do some bullshit like release it as a code in the Content Creator program like the Odyssey Sona emote or Green Infernal Amumu.

The only possible reason I could see is that the emote is skeleton-like, which is a big no no in China. That's why he was made more specter than bone a few years back. It's stupid as hell, but that's the only reason I could possibly see besides Riot just shitting the bed completely, which is possible.

It became a Jinx emote, because Karthus is unpopular while Jinx t3h PeNgU1N oF d00m is very popular.

It's probably tough to know the answer to right now, but my guess is going to be no.

Karthus has always been an issue since Tencent's acquisition of riot. Why? Skeletons are a much more taboo thing in China than they are in western cultures. At one point he had his splashes changed so they would not show any bones and he also had parts of his model changed to hide his bones.

Technically it appears that he has some kind of Zombie-esque skin on his face in this emote, but it might be ruled too risky for Tencent to give it the "ok"

Because China. They don't like depictions of the dead, as such, karthus' face as an emote might piss off some of the chinese playerbase. Stupid I know.
