Jungle's never been more depressing, toxicities at an all time high so, why are you guys still around? Fun? Addiction? I'm very curious
Because it's still fun. As much as the boards rant and rave about stupid shit like always, it's still a fun game.
Current PC is a potato. Not that I don't find League fun, I just don't like the direction the meta is going in. Oh well.

Seriously, though, I love the game. The art, the lore, just the style and feel of it. I just despise the vast majority of the community, and that's what keeps me from playing most of the time.
I can mute toxic chat and pings, but I can't do anything about my autofilled support picking Draven, calling me an animal, and demanding that I support them.
I can't do anything about my Nautilus abandoning bot lane after I miss a single skill shot and AFK farming jungle for the rest of the game while arguing with the Xerath, who is also AFK farming the jungle.
I can't do anything about the Poppy and Fizz duo that used their abilities to get past the turrets and suicide into the enemy fountain.
I can't do anything about the Jax that called me useless and AFK farmed the jungle/inted, even after I made a comeback and gave the team a lead.
I can't do anything about the Rakan who afked after he died and then proceeded to leave base, walk past his teammates who needed his help, hit some jungle camps, recall, and afk again, saying "get fucked, idiots" post game.
This community just makes playing this game a damn chore no matter what gamemode you're playing. If its not flaming, its inting, trolling, or just... Something, anything to ruin the game and make it as unfun as possible.
Habit (I enjoy it at times). Plus Tekken 7 wasn't as good as 6 so not playing it as much, SquEnix aren't making FF games anymore and Bioware haven't made a Dragon Age game in 5 years. It and Overwatch tide me over until another good single player game comes about.
I cna't fucking stop playing it. I'm level 137, i started playing like last summer or something like that, and i have over 1300 hours, and i haven't still bought all champ. I always shit talk about the game, how you can be gold without really know how to play other then 1 or 2 champions, that i fucking hate how my team usually have at least one or two players that sucks and we lose the game cause maybe they beat their opponent early game, while during mid/late game they always go alone with 0 vision and die, blame us and make us lose the game, while the people who sucks in the enemy team and do that shit win and then say "EZ" while they didn't do anything except flame, grief and troll. I hate all of that. But in the end i always return. I always enjoy this game. Cause every game it's different, it can be frustrating or it can be good, but in the end i always love playing it with my friends. But sometimes i need to take breaks. I understood it when i got my 2 weeks ban, where i didn't really flamed a lot but that made me realize that probably i need a break for at least 1/2 minutes after every ranked, cause i hate stacking tilt.
I still think that

because my role is fun again. it took years but the wait was worth.
You do realize OP that people who complain on the forums are usually not the majority? Its the same with any game. Granted I wont praise the game because while I enjoy playing its hardly the best game out there. I get more enjoyment playing some older games like Arcanum or old might and magic games sometimes. My point is everyone who enjoys this game enjoys it for their own reason Me its because of ARAM I love ARAMA because of the complete chaos that can ensue in a match. Outside that I hardly ever touch rank or normals XD. Actually I Jumped into Normal for the first time in I don't know hoe long..... also spent about 1/3 of the game reconnecting.... kind of surprised that we won has I dint get in until like everyone was like level 4 but me XD.
Man jungle was flamed since the beginning of lol. Nothing's changed. The base of the game is still the same.
Because I have to get gold at least once so I can stop playing.
