My Mouse keeps slowing down.

I use a MacOS High Sierra and the mouse is basically a curved flat white surface. At the bottom it requires 2 batteries that are double A. In game my mouse kept slowing down or just disconnecting when my mouse was fully powered. Sometimes it teleported to one side of the screen to another. Or one spot is slow and the other's are not. Sometimes it would work normally and then lag. Can somebody help?
