The options for the Odyssey Gem makes me confuse myself on my decision making.
(THESE ARE ALL IN MY OPINION, BUT PLEASE TAKE IN MIND I HAVE DONE A BIT OF RESEARCH INTO THE OPTIONS, SOME FACTS MAY BE INCORRECT OR VAGUE, FOR THAT I APOLOGIZE FOR WASTING YOUR TIME) One Odyssey Gem can be forged into 5 bags Each bag has different options of skins It makes me feel like a life or death situation for the whole population of the world. (Vague, i know, sorry for no explanation, just rushing this)
So here are the bags ( I am deciding on getting either the Revel Bag or testing my luck on the Birdie Bag)
REVEL BAG
This bag will give you one skin of every skin tier until legendary (No legacy's, mythics, ultimates, or really old ones eg. Magnificent Twisted Fate) You will get 1 skin out of 5 of the following A Timeworn Skin (390-460-520 RP) A Deluxe Skin (750 RP) A Superior Skin (950 RP) An EPIC Skin (1350 RP) And a Legendary Skin (1820 RP)
This bag is pretty worth it, best case scenario you get 5390 RP worth of Skins. and if you get a 390 RP skin first you still get 5260 RP worth of Skins.
Your chances of getting the Legendary Skin you want or already have is 1 out of 43 Your chances of getting the EPIC Skin you want or already have is 1 out of 211
This is the Best bag in my opinion, but ; you can test your luck on the BIRDIE BAG
THE BIRDIE BAG
This bag will give you a COMPLETE SET of SKIN SHARDS for a random skin line. (This also includes about the HEXTECH and Ultimate skins that cost 2775 RP but not the 3250 RP ones)
There are 71 (or 80 if they're named differently)skinlines and you will get (I don't know if they mean Skin Themes which will give you much, much more RP, these amount of skinlines are based on me finding sets and finding how much RP they cost all together)
If you get really really unlucky you're probably going to get around 520 RP to 2000+ RP worth of 1 or 2 skins
If you get lucky you might get 3000-10000+ RP worth of Skins
If you get really lucky you might get 13000 - 20700 RP worth of Skins
The First Highest RP Skinline is Pool Party at 20700 RP
The Second Highest RP Skinline is Snowdown Showdown at 19650
The Third Highest RP Skinline is Project at 17610

VS FACTION BAG
Gives you one skin shard for each five champions from the same faction (Factions, Demacia, Noxus, Frejlord, Ionia , etc..)
Could be worth if you mostly get epics or about 1 or 2 legendaries most of the time probably Timeworns or Superior's.
CRAB BAG
Gives you one skin shard for each six champions of each six roles (Roles- assassin, fighter, mage, marksman, support, and tank)
Spread your wide variety of skins through each lane!
CHAMPION BAG
gives you the complete set of non-mythic, non-limited skin shards for a random champion
Good if you main that champion, bad if they only have 1 skin or don't play that champion. (Unless if you wanted it the whole time. Hello Camille, Kai'sa, Ivern, Kled, Ornn, Pyke mains)
I apologize if these seem unnecessary to you and a complete waste of time as you read somebody's own opinion on something you can choose for yourself. I am only spreading my opinion to see if some people may agree with me or disagree with me to help me reconsider my options.
