NIDALEE REWORK?

Okay, so I've been playing Nidalee for years. There is no doubt she is a strong and mobile champ, and requires some skill to land a skillshot or two, but it feels like she falls off late game completely. When everyone in the team gets their full build, give or take the supports, Nidalee's damage falls off completely, especially against tanks or even some bruisers. She is very squishy because her burst damage capability but in a losing situation, there is no counter play. Zhonya's or Banshee's may help sometimes, but doesn't make a difference in the long run. As a burst damage champ, she's good but it's not viable. Spears are easy to dodge due to the travel speed, your traps may help in case of invade or just general vision, but are hardly a skill. Cougar form has always been good but I notice a problem with her jumping distance when you land a skill shot. I swear I've targeted a champ within the circle but she'll just short dash and get turned on. It's a trash feeling. I just think the effort it takes to play her is too much for the reward. Her mana consumption is huge but her mana regen is terrible. Base 19 mana per 5 seconds at lvl18 is so insignificant. She must live with a blue buff or else she won't last at all. I think it would be nice for a rework that gives her better base sustain stats, nerf the E slightly so it's only used when needed and not abused, and make it so her Q CD is reduced by X amount if landed (based on the distance(?)) so it's more rewarding to land them and she is actually able to finish kills. I think her traps should be reworked because they are literally only helpful to make sure someone doesn't invade your camps but even then, it's visible and they'll just walk around it. I think it would be nice to see her W more like, but slightly weaker, than a Jhin trap, where they are more of a utility and slows and gives vision of the area if set off, and aren't visible unless with the scanner trinket or other vision forms. I already know there will be comments like "bUT hEr daMAGE iS SO-" and things like that, but that's probably not coming from someone who plays Nidalee but someone who got outplayed by one. I just think she falls off and doesn't have a place in late game.
