Heroes of the Storm is now also in permanent maintenance mode, and it's eSports presence is dead. So take that how you will. Plus, Blizzards other cash cow, Overwatch, is being sensationalized and flooded with microtransactions, so I don't think using Blizzard to try to compare Riot's event content to is particularly valid. The closest thing you have is this wretched prestige point system.

HOTS does have good events,nexamania and suns out guns out were both very good events. But didn't LOL just have winter wonderland? that was a fun event wasn't it?
