I know a lot of people hate this season but...

I don't think its the worst. I've been enjoying this season a bunch because I simply find it fun. But A LOT of people do not like this season and I can understand why. Balance issues, client, matchmaking, bugs, more bugs, and even more bugs, as well as Riot not just being critized as a gameing company, but as a company in general. The point I wanted to make on this thread is I felt season 8 was worse and easily the worst season in league. Just to name off a few things from last season..

And that's just to name a handful. The problem with season 8 was that it's [part of the reason season 9 is also considered a mess because we're still trying to clean of season 8's mess of balance with the atrocious reworks that came out last year. Had Irelia, Akali, and Aatroxx's reworks not prevailed, as well as the crit item changes that everyone hated, I guarantee that season 9 wouldn't be nearly as bad as it is right now. In fact most of the champs I listed that came out/ were reworked last year, are still complained about the most by far(with the exception of Yasuo because he's Yasuo) and their kits being such an unfixable mess that Riot is wasting time and effort attempting to fix them and make them balanced still. All of these champs were bad because of the next thing I want to get into that was heavily reinforced in season 8. Damage. This has been one of the biggest complaints about the game for the past 2 or so years.

The complaint is theres simply so much damage in the game that people are starting to compare a strategy game to call of duty's franchise. WHICH SHOULD'NT BE A THING. A good example of this is Irelias new passive, Simply by killing minions and doing damage you gain more damage, and this trend continued with reworks and champs from this year like Mordikiser or Sylas or even Neeko.

While season 9 has its own problems that didn't stem from season 8 at all whatsoever such as the bugs and the turret plating everyone apparently hates(I liked the change but I seem to be in the minority). The game would still be in a better area if the massive fuck-ups from Riot didn't exist from last year. League was a giant failure of a game last year and it is the only time I ever seriously considered quitting in the 7-8 years I've been playing. And in this season(while still bad I agree with you guys) there are massive problems but I still don't agree with the statement that this is the worst season in league.
