If you were ever a fan or enjoyed stuff done by TotalBiscuit, I'd suggest you look at this
The basic TL:DR of the Reddit post about TB's future is this -
- Conventional treatments are ineffective now and TB's liver is too damage for clinical trials that they know of
- He's retiring as a games critic to spend whats left of his life sharing his love of gaming with his wife and to everyone via co-op videos and streams
- The podcast (for those concerned that follow and listen to them) will continue every week, with a streamlined 2-hour format
- There are no plans to launch any kind of donation campaign and suggest means to support them in the Reddit link above in much greater detail if you would like to
I'm not exactly the greatest with words, but I hope I do a decent job here getting what thoughts and sediments I'd can scramble together and would like to get across to any and all reading this -
I wasn't one who really followed TotalBiscuit's videos, podcasts and whatnot all too much, but took a look now and then
Not only did I appreciate the dedication and strides of effort he put into his work, and being a much needed voice for all of us in the gaming community, but also respected the reasoning he gave into games I'd thought about playing and purchases I'd be on the fence making
He's a good man that helped many with his knowledge and was a shining example of the good the gaming community brings
When I found out about this... it shocked me
From last I heard he was getting better, and the cruel nature of this reality left me dumbfounded in a cold lost confusion for a fair while
There isn't many ways I can show this man the respect he deserves, so here I am doing what I can by making this thread as a means to spread word of what happened
I do this not only as a random viewer of his works, but a fellow member of the gaming community
I wish the League community also does the same as his work and efforts also affected League, being a huge boon to it's community growth and making it the power house MOBA that it is today

Finally, not only do I send best wishes and respects to him and his loved ones, but also I hope he goes about his remaining days doing what makes him happiest and bring many more great memories
For he truly deserves it
