Zen Cannon: Varus is still old Varus.

Theory lore:

Varus, The archer Darkin, Is Still The old Varus.

X Years BEFORE The Kai/Val raid, The Old lore happened, Stricken with Grief, Varus gave in to the nameless darkin, But his shear Willpower kept through, And is what gives the darkin its Power. Through the next X Years, The city slowly rebuilt, And Varus was sealed back into the pit, And the "Corruption Pit" Was soon refilled with Varus' New essence.

Fast forward X years, Kai Val happened, Bla bla bla, Watch the video/comic thing.

As the 3 new beings were combined, The name Varus didn't just pop out of nowhere and they agreed that it sound great, Varus popped up from the Grief stricken Darkin, And upon their chest lays Varus' Locket, The images of his wife and son bringing back lost memories and weakening the darkin, Allowing Kai and Val to have some grasp on the being.
