played it 5 times when it came out and it was garbage and honestly how can any one even have fun playing a game so reliant on rng

then dont play it... find something else to do.
You don't play the game, the game plays itself. You just select what champions want to play by themselves, on top of RNG. I'm pretty sure the only reason it's hot right now is because people are burnt out on the actual league game and wanted a more casual/chill way, but I doubt an auto playing game would last long.
