Bit of a rant but feel free to discuss any part of the following

League has come to a point where I don't think I can stand to play SR any more, even normal draft.

• Games are decided well before they end
• Riot blatantly plays balance favorites
• Riot refuses to correct meta dictating problems
• There's almost no sportsmanship anymore

While the first 3 are completely of Riot's design, all 4 are ultimately out of my control. The last one just tells me that there's no hope left for League to recover.

"GG" at the end of the game no longer feels like a show of sportsmanship, just a formality with little to no sincerity behind it. And between games being decided so quickly yet still going on for 20+ minutes and Riot's choices leading to a complete inability to make a comeback, there's little to be done when a snowball starts. To that end, I consistently see players adding "EZ" to that formality, changing it from a formality into being a jerk. The fact games are being decided so easily probably leads to this lack of sincerity as Riot made comeback mechanics possible to abuse by the winning team.

I want to be able to play and enjoy League. Sadly, without the ability to enjoy it there is little point to playing. While there is still ARAM (which oddly feels more balanced than SR despite being more random) for me to play as well as the occasional events, I think it's safe to say that I can no longer spare any compassion for Riot or the state of League. They created this bed and will lie in it. Hopefully they won't be laying on this deathbed for long, but it feels clear to me that they don't want to recover.
