Whats your username history?
Up until 2005 I had always used my own name in games. Then my brother got an Xbox and Halo. He gave me my first Gamertag by randomly slamming his hand down.
"QRNM" The halo and halo 2 memories are strong with this "name".
My next addition to the list was "MAOE159". I was thinking of a good name and fell asleep and woke up with this in the box and just left it.
In 2007, I decided to think of a "cool" name, so for some reason I was like "Spark lighters are cool, why don't I call my self that?" Then proceeded to spell it wrong. Thus "Sparkliter" was born. It lasted all of about 10 days before I changed it back because people nicknamed me sparkling glitter.
In 2008-2010 I hit that edgy teen phase and went though quite a few names.... It hurts to remember these. DeathHawk, DeathWarHawk, Wolf of Pain, Arctic Fire Wolf, Killer Fox, Death_Hawk_22, Warhawk, Warhawk of Death, Dark Phase, Renegade Wolf, Arctic Ice, Arctic Werewolf (what the fuck was i thinking??????). [zombie-brand-mindblown]
In 2011 I dropped that phase and picked the name "SolarPhantom". I used this until around 2013. I still use it occasionally but only around the friends I have in MMO's who constantly call me "Solar" no matter what my IGN is. I still have a bad habit of responding to it to this date. I think it was like last year, but in a game someone had solar in their name and was in a premade. Guy: "Solar, go bot" Me: "I am bot" Guy: "Im not talking to you idiot"
In 2013 I decided I just wanted a random user name and after a while of just looking at names of game characters, names of gods and goddesses, etc, etc. I came to the name "NiamhNyx". This is my current user name, I mainly picked it because of the oxymoronic nature of it. Niamh is an irish name for bright, brilliant, radiance, etc. And Nyx is a goddess of dark, I just thought "Heh, I like it". It also got me quite a bit of free stuff because some guys in MMO's thought i was a woman. Even got me a few free skins in this game, and no I'm not abusing the name, I just don't correct them.
Recently though, My league name became PlebosaurusRex because I made the mistake of letting my friend "look at my skins" while i went upstairs to make some food and he ended up name changing me.
