What do rioters do all day? They are people too

Think about it. there are people that are just being payed to look at these boards. I cant imagine getting that as a job. You get to see positive and a lot of negative feedback from your own community. Think about sitting on a comp all day lookin at what is being said here, though it might not even be all of it. You see them here and there. And even the ones that you happen to play with though it is rare. There has to be a few people working that just see a lot. in and out of work.

Imagine you work for the game company then just spend your free time playing the game too. Thats a little devotion if you ask me. Not a bash. Just a thought for the day.

Alas there aren't any Rioters paid to look at the boards. Perhaps there should be, but there aren't Rioters who comment generally are doing so in their own free time. This is why sometimes Riot never responds at all, as since the Rioters are doing so in their free time as individuals there is no motivation for them to enter a sticky situation with angry people in it. Quite the contrary in fact, as they might even get in trouble if they make the controversy worse so they just avoid it altogether.

The lack of Riot involvement is why the boards is going downhill imo.

It's why the only developer is a volunteer with very limited tools. The boards is still in beta about 5 years after launch lol
It's why Riot rarely comments on or addresses any gameplay concerns here.
It's why the moderators here are completely unchecked and free to do anything they please.
It's why Reddit is preferred by Riot, as it takes less upkeep on Riot's end due to the fact another company handles the forum itself.
