Blue Essence prices aren't really worth spending on masteries

I've got waaaaaay too many tokens and not enough blue essence. And the range of blue essence rewards from leveling up are just too few and far between. I'm level 58, and I still either get two 90 BE champs to break down or just one 1.2k BE champ. With those ranges, sometimes leveling feels slightly rewarding, but mostly not worth the effort with the high chances of receiving one 270 BE, however much it is, or two 90 BE shards. Hopefully you guys at riot can refine this leveling/BE system

They can refine it, though that doesn't necessarily mean they will.

LOL they would probably just reduce the cost by 5-50 and call it a day.

I mean let's be real, they could have refined their matchmaking system (both ranked and normal) by now too, and in all these years it's still just as garbage as it ever was. There's no real excuse why it shouldn't be better than it is, other than them looking at it and saying "well, close enough for government work." When it comes to Riot, pretty words and possibilities are just that - at no point in time will I believe that they will do something until they actually do. I'm not so naive as to give them the benefit of the doubt the way I used to.

Given how they nerfed the IP earn rate, I find it amazing that they still charge such crazy values for these masteries. No thanks.

Actually, you get more than before, it's just delayed and it feels like ass.

No, what they said was "some players earn champs sooner" -- then they proceeded to show how new players can earn faster, while others earn similar rates. This system is a nerf to overall earn rates for veteran players... unless you play like 1 or 2 games per day.

They said some, due to the ability to get the worst out of every box because you're an unlucky duckling.

Now, the increase isn't a whole lot higher, but it is more, even if it feels like yes.

If you only play 1 or 2 games a day, ergo the first win of the day bonus, your income will be higher, due to being inflated with first wins.

From level 30-40 I got approx 11-12k BE, at approx 10 games a level up on average, it's more than I got before. Just it takes forever to actually get paid. I have to wait for a level to get a small bonus, and then every 10 levels you get a big bonus.

It has nothing to do with me being an unlucky duckling. I used their "average" value that they gave. And since you can calculate the overall expected value over 10 levels, you can then find how much total BE you should EXPECT over however much experience it takes to level up (I'm talking about levels 40+, not earlier levels.

The BE earn rate iS WORSE, unless you are playing very few games DAILY.
