Carrying a team and not getting recognition for it. Getting a Laner Fed only for people to give them to upvote the fed laner. Warding as much as possible and getting death threats for a ward dying. Killing enemy wards and be told you are some how feeding. Going 0/2/35 and being told that you did nothing all game.

At least you win. Recent games I was still getting my laner fed 3-0 multiple games, only to lose the game. I go to ward, they push up 1v2... "WHAT THE HELL MAN." I go to ward.... they push up "WHAT THE HELL MAN GET OUT. STOP PLAYING WITH ME. GET OUT."

Sitting in a bush getting carried building the most broken item in the game to brainlessly win games by pressing point and click abilities that shield and heal your adc getting rewarded for doing the most basic of tasks getting slapped with all of the honors just because you built ardent

I've played supports in every elo but Bronze. (Ok, correction, every MMR. Not counting Masters/Challenger. I've gone against Diamonds in Ranked but I've never been Diamond so rip.)
Truth is you can be recognized pretty well as a support. Look at BunnyFuFu's Thresh or Madlife's Blitz.
Hell, I was playing as Support ("Support") Zyra recently and had my team going "wtf just go full AP we dont even care" and got honored up the ass because of how much I dominated.
But here's the thing-- a lot of supports want praise just for doing what they should already be doing.
Warding the map is just your job and I don't think being praised for it should just happen. Same with things like keeping your ADC alive as Janna/Raka (honestly with how overtuned Janna has been I think the main praise should be for just picking her lol).
Praise can definitely happen but I think it should be for the right things. Getting a godlike engage off as Leona. Blasting down a team as Vel/Brand/whatever AP Support you go. Pulling off a godlike hook, like when someone's mid-dash. Things like that.
But regardless, if youre doing your job well, who cares? Be glad you're not Jungling lol, not only will people not praise you a lot of the time but they'll blame literally everything on you.
As for honors, sometimes people do it for carrying, but idk personally I like to honor people based off attitude more than anything.
Just keep doing well, have a positive attitude, and you'll get recognized here and there. Just keep doing you.

I hate that not only do I win more games as supp, and the fact that every time I go any other lane, my botlane feeds their hats off. Like how hard is it to keep someone alive? (I say this yet I know it's hard to stop a bad adc from constantly doing something stupid)
support will always go unrecognized. That's just the way things are. No need to circlejerk :P
the biggest issue i think, is that people don't protect the supports. I'll be a soraka in the backline getting dived and, of course the second i die they lose the teamfight because i was giving everyone ardent and zoning the enemy in a silence/snare zone and healing everyone all the time. But then they blame me for it. Like.. protect me? I shouldn't have to burn flash exhaust and ult every team fight because you guys try to kill their tank while a zed dives me.
