https://www.engadget.com/2016/03/09/riot-games-buys-radiant-entertainment-fighting/ in 2016 , riot purchased radiant- entertainment , they had a new fighting style game in development at the time of their purchase. since then , we haven't heard any news on a game from them to my knowledge. riot owns this fighting company , is it possible we will see a super smash brothers format feature league of legends characters?

They probably dropped that project. A game like that doesn't take so long to make. Why the need to bring it up? they already lost money by buying that company.

Hopefully they are planning something much bigger a new game that will be as popular as league.
