Outdeul gnar?

I'm kinda pissed off RN. I was playing as aatrox top, loading in champ select, and thought "oh ****" im against gnar, the most annoying champion around. I was able to get a kill on him due to him underestimating my level 6, and was able to pick up quite a bit of CS seeing as he took ignite. So the game went on, our team was losing, we had already lost drag and mid was losing pretty hard. I got gnar's turret and we both backed. I had bilgewater, merc treads, and 2 daggers, and all he had was sunfires. When we got back to lane, he began going pritty hard on me. so i q'ed, ult'ed, e'ed, and it didnt matter. He didnt even use ignite on me and he outdeuled me in mini gnar form. Im pritty sure thats broken. Hes not supposed to outdeul people in mini gnar form, especally when they are up in cs and have a turret on you. Sorry to rant but i think he is in need of some nerfs, his late game damage and cc is ridiculous when building tanky. I would rather have him on my team late game then a nasus with 700 stacks. any tips to win against this yordle?

Seeing that you mentioned that your team lost dragon, the % dmg boost might have played into affect and other lanes losing probably put him on par with you (Turrets give him gold).

He had a completed item, you didn't. If he was in mini form then he could have been kiting you, in that case you're going to lose the duel unless you're prepared with some means of staying on top of him until he's dead. Another factor to consider is that Gnar is a strong duelist early on while Aatrox isn't.
